Epic says Shadow Complex will “likely not” see price below $20

Shadow Complex will more than likely cost buyer at least $20.00 when it launches on Xbox Live.
At least that is what Epic programmer Rob McLaughlin told Joystiq when asked.
The title would “likely not see price point below $20″ he told the site.
So there ya have it.

Not a must buy anymore for me, then. The almighty reviews will decide.

I’ll buy this game no matter the price! Super Metroid and Castlevania:SotN are 2 of my favourite games and i can’t wait for this! I expect 1600 MS points though to be honest judging by the quality especially considering they charge 1600 for crap like Watchmen!!!

I watched the vids of this and don’t really understand why people are so excited about it. It looks like one of those early 90s games with digitised people – NARC, or something.

People like it because its a blantant 2D Metroid rip-off and the 2D metroid games were awesome. I think this looks pretty cool.

Yep this was one of the best bits of the MS conf for me. If they can capture something of Castlevania SOTN I’m in. It’s got to have lots of exploration and stuff to collect though.

I just watched the developer walkthrough video and you’re right – it’s Super Metroid with Splinter Cell graphics!
