Ubisoft talks about UPlay at E3, launches this year

Yves Guillemont, head bossman at Ubisoft announced Uplay at E3 during its press event.

It's a brand new web-based service and online destination that allows players to create content and share it with friends, and download game information.

Out later in the year, some of the big-shots the company will be working with include Peter Jackson and Stephen Spielberg, among others.

The first games get the UPlay integration are Avatar, AssCreed 2, and Splinter Cell: Conviction.
