Halo 3: ODST is “done,” says Staten

Halo 3 creative director Joe Staten revealed to IGN yesterday that Halo 3: ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) is “done.”
Hopefully that means the September 22 release date will stick and perhaps a demo might be in the offing, although Bungie traditionally, don’t ‘do’ demos.

A rumoured 4 hour game using a now acient engine… The question isnt when it’ll come out, but why the hell isnt it out already?

Or a probable 10 hour game after 2 runs, plus multiplayer, plus a heavily tweaked version of the Halo 3 engine.

If Bungie ‘did’ demos then I might consider trying this. Just to see.

“Lutz. Look at top of page.”
Um, there’s about 50 things up there… specifics?
Suikoden Fan: There are more Suikoden games than Halo ones. Hmm?

Thank you. I’ve been wondering for days what ODST stood for. Now I can forget it again, safe in the knowledge it wasn’t worth finding out in the first place.
