Monday, 1st June 2009 20:58 GMT By Patrick Garratt

Next up with its E3 press conference is EA, and we’ll be liveblogging it when it begins at 2.00pm PST/10.00pm BST/11.00pm CET.

We’ve already had a Crysis 2 announcement today, but will there be more surprises? You betcha.

Quite how anyone can expect to follow the Microsoft conference is a bit of a mystery, though. Get all the news from that here.

If you’re after streaming video, check IGN, Gametrailers, Gamespot or G4.

I’d like to see lots of Mass Effect 2, please. And Brutal Legend. And announce Mirror’s Edge 2 and Dead Space 2 (despite me not having played the first one yet). And something really fucking cool that’s brand new. Ta.

EA “We announce that all those sports games you bought last year will have it’s multiplayer cut off in 2010, so go buy our new IMPROVED version, with FREE DRM”

So does Crysis 2 look better or worse than the first?

The guy said it will be a milestone for consoles and look better then the first one. Whether you believe that is up to you. :)

    I think I might have missed something… where’s Mass Effect 2?

Hmm… severely lacking in new announcements, there. I was hoping for something else as well as Crysis. :-|

I was disappointed not to see something about Mirror’s Edge; but I did think that The Saboteur looks like it has some potential. A demo would be nice. Oh, and that APB looked like it could be real good fun, too.

Back to Shift, just once more, because their driver profile system just might be what makes that game the key one for online. Its influence isn’t difficult to see, but it could give the racer some proper staying power.
