Sony has “high hopes” for the success of inFamous

infamous6

Sony has stated it has positive outlook  for inFamous, especially after some of the initial positive reviews.

“We have high hopes for inFamous, which are backed up by a number of high profile, and very positive, specialist and mainstream press review scores,” an SCEE spokesperson told Develop.

Being positive is always a good thing.

The game was released in North America yesterday, and will release in Europe this Friday.

What a non story. If they’d have said: ” We don’t hold out much hope for inFamous. It’s pretty average and we have far more exciting games on the way. And Prototype will kick it’s arse.” That would be interesting.

Lets face it. SONY have ‘high hopes’ for anything with the PS3 name stamped on it.

I don’t know… I found that a little bit interesting. This is just… Well we knew it as soon as it was announced.

Got the game today. Great fun! :) Nice to get rid of the barriers in the demo.

I think this will be a nice success for them. Nothing earth-shattering or system-selling, but I hope they do well because it’s a little different from the rest of their first-party output and Sucker Punch are such a nice team.
