Gladiator A.D. revealed as New High Voltage title, another to be shown tomorrow

IGN, as promised, has revealed the next High Voltage game to be Gladiator A.D., a “next step in filling the holes in the Wii’s library,” according to dev boss Kerry Ganofsky.
Players choose a Gladiator, each with unique attacks, behaviors, moves, and weapons. They then battle through a series of competitions, some one-on-one and some “much more complex”.
It’s out Q1 2010, and High Voltage hopes “Gladiator A.D. is going to redefine the fighting game genre on the Wii.”
Hooray to that. Another new High Voltage game is to be shown exclusively on IGN tomorrow.
Thanks, Centipede.

But Sword of Vengeance was awful. Is it the same team? It looks like the same character but that could just be because they insist on copying Russell Crowes look.

His name is Biggus Dickus, he wanks among the highest in Wome… this looks like a pile of crud to me.. why bother making something like that on Wii? At least go for PS3/360 then it might look half way decent.. gameplay you say? Not bothered.. its fugly

gotta love when devs say “going to redefine xxx genre” when there’s practically no games for such genre. Easy uh?
