Warner’s officially announced the multi-format disc versions of the Watchmen games, confirming the PS3 version as a “retail Blu-Ray Hi-Def game and film hybrid”.

It’s out in July alongside the film’s director’s cut.

Both parts of the game will also release for 360 on DVD.

er, when it says hybrid it doesn’t mean the game and film are intermingled, it means they’ll be on the same disc.

The game is actually unrelated to the movie story anyway, it’s set in a period of the Watchmen universe where Rorschach and Nite Owl II were a partnership prior to the main events of the film – so having the game and film footage intermingled wouldn’t even make sense.
