The PS3 version of Tomb Raider: Underworld is finally getting its Trophy patch, Eidos confirmed today.

The rewards update will be added on May 28.

“Sorry for the delay and thank you very much to those who were able to wait patiently,” said a rep.

“It’s really appreciated and I hope you get some great Raiding out of it.”

Cool beans. Thanks, Aimless.

    What a bunch of meh.
Completed this, and have already traded it in.

Too buggy and frustrating to warrant a second playthrough for trophies.

Wonder if this has been pushed through cos of Square’s buyout of Eidos? Maybe?

With Square buying Eidos we’ll even less PS3 content if Square’s current attitude to Sony and the PS3 is anything to go by.

Squares attitude to the PS3 and Sony?

Becuase of 2 tri-ace games and one Last Remnant? Moneyhatted, or given free dev kits? Square Enix would love to put out a PS3 game I am sure, they have seen how hungry the market is in Japan. But they don’t HAVE a PS3 game to put out.

Why can’t SE release PS3 versions of The Last Hope and Last Remnant? The Last Hope is not 360 exclusive, as SE say they may or may not release a PS3 version, and I’m not aware of any information that suggests it’s timed.

With The Last Remnant, the SE guy couldn’t even give an explanation as to why it’s not out on PS3 when quizzed…except to dodge the question.

It doesn’t matter whether a third party i.e. Microsoft, have influenced their platform decisions as they’ve clearly chosen a conscience effort to ignore the PS3.

When the 360 has had 3 games and the PS3 has had two and a half years of nothing from SE, that’s dubious; anyone has to admit to that much.

Razor, I am not here to argue with people who are wrong. I am here to tell people they are wrong – and they listen.

Wrong, because they did…until it vanished without a trace.

No, they ANNOUNCED a game. Like you do, when you are in pre-development stages.

As I said man, you can try to be right, but if you are, it’s only becuase you end up agreeing with me.

Your right guys. Square Enix has been a bit slow. They do want to put out more games, but don’t forget the business side of things.

Star Ocean and Last Remnant will probably come out to PS3. There is no mention of exclusivity for it (at least publicly) But those NDA (Non-Disclosed Agreement) contracts are what keeps games from going further to other platforms.

So, it will be something of what we experience like with say, FALLOUT 3? LOL, just be patient and it shall come. If you let it get to you, then you let them win. If you want to do that, then great, more power to you. I’m just trying to help :D

Good news either way about Trophies. Better than nothing right?

I hate to say this.. but Trophies just aren’t the same. You have to make effort to compare trophies. Unlike 360 Live where the number is seen easy and by all. I’m huge achievment whore on my 360… but on my PS3.. i just could care less about trophies… I like the number value better, and you don’t have to go looking for the number, unlike trophies which take effor to compare, making them pointless.

Looking at the trophy level is an effort to you?
Every post you do makes you look like a noob, pay more attention.

Pudding, you’re stretching. SE announced a PS3 game; now it’s gone with no explanation.

Plus the fact it’s still listed on SE’s corporate website to be released on PS3; and even the game website has PS logo’s plastered everywhere…so it’s not been cancelled, and neither is there any indication that is has been.

So they do have a PS3 game to release. How you can spin it otherwise?

    It’s in development hell.

They are not just sitting on the Last Remnant egg thinking:

“Ohh when should I best release it, this is sure to be a hit”

The DEVELOPER couldn’t answer the questions, not the publishers. They don’t dislike it, it’s just difficult especially when they can’t run a UE3 game on the 360. Imagine how unplayable it would be on PS3.

Square dont have anything for PS3? FFXIII and Vs.?

I’ll take your word for it then…but they should just say that technical problems are holding them up.

Yeah you’re right, they should. But company’s find it difficult to take fault.
