Watchmen games heading to disc retail

Speaking at Nordic Game in Sweden today, Deadline Games boss Søren Lund has told 1UP that both episodes of the Watchmen downloadable game are to be sold together on a retail disc.

Lund said the set will most likely ship alongside the Watchmen DVD/Blu-ray, which is expected on July 21 in North America.

A press release is expected tomorrow.

It would have to ship as a freebie. The demo I played was utterly awful, there’s no way it’ll stand up against other games on the market. Even other movie tie ins like Terminator crap all over it.

If I can spend a few hours making the shiny stockinged one do all sorts of squats and star jumps, win ;)
