Next Tomb Raider movie to be based on a younger Lara
Looks like the next Tomb Raider flick will be more of an “origins” experience by focusing on a a younger version of Lara Croft.
Producer Dan Lin confirmed the project during the premiere of his film, Terminator: Salvation.
“We’re rebooting Lara Croft. Really excited – it’s a great origin story that we’re going to tell. A very character-oriented I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies,” he told About.com.
“I would say it’s like Terminator – character-driven action. I think for me the Lara Croft games and movies have gone a little too action-oriented. I wanted to have action, but with character.”
An actress has yet to be cast, but it has been rumored that Megan Fox is up for the role.

ok no ofense guys but shia lebouf is a damn good actor. i think he was awesome in transformers and that megan was kind of like a side kick. u know, every movie who has as the primary character a male, needs a hot girl as a secondary character just to sell better. it’s common sense. as for mrs. fox? i still prefer angelina over her a thousand times. but hey, if they r returning to the origins or whatever someone else should play lara’s role, not her. she’s definetly not the one to play this character. right now, maybe it’s just me, but when i see lara i see angelina, a strong, independent, smart and beautiful woman, NOT hot! if they cast her for this role, everyone who’s going to watch this movie is going to think “hot hot hot” and idk about u but if i want to see that i go and watch porn not tomb raider. when i will go to see tr i want to see tr and not some cheap replica who’s there just to sell.
