Street Fighter IV PC minimum and recommended specs released

Capcom has released the minimum and recommended PC specs for Street Fighter IV.
Here’s the rundown:
Minimum specs:
- Windows XP
- Intel Pentium4 2.0GHz or higher
- 1GB RAM or higher
- 10GB of free HDD space or more
- NVIDIA GeForce6600 series, ATI Radeon(TM) X1600 or higher or higher, DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, VRAM ?F256MB or higher
- DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible
- Mouse, Keyboard
Recommended Specs:
- Windows Vista
- Intel Core2Duo 2.0GHz or higher
- 2GB RAM or higher
- 10GB of free HDD space or more
- NVIDIA GeForce8600 series or higher, ATI Radeon(TM) X 1900 or higher, DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, VRAM ?F512MB or higher
- DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible
- Gamepad ?FXbox360 Controller for Windows
Game’s out July 7.

That’s becoming the standard these days, thought quite why SF4 needs 10gb I have no idea. There’s hardly much to it really.

Yeah thats what i thought, i would understand 10Gb for a content fiend like The Sims or Oblivion but not SFIV, really its just flashy gfx code taking up the space for over all not alot. Another good reason why its better on console…

It won’t take up 10GB, they never take up the full amount it says on the box.
Gekidami, I’d happily spend that 10GB for the far faster loading times alone – Another reason why it’s better on PC…

I’ve got it on PS3 and with a smaller install it has no loading what so ever…
