Next Killzone 2 DLC will be “best looking thing we have ever made”
Word that Guerrilla Games started looking for testers to try out it’s next bit of downloadable content for Killzone 2 surfaced yesterday, and the firm says it’s going to be the best yet.
NextGamer heard the talk, got on the horn to the game’s producer Sebastian Downie, and asked him what the extra team members were needed for.
“It’s DLC for Killzone 2, and all I can tell you is that it’s best looking thing we have ever made,” he replied.
Not exactly surprising news is it? At least you know the next bit’s coming eventually though.

I played KZ2 just yesterday after giving it a rest for about 3 weeks – why I ever left the game alone christ knows!!!
I regret the weeks I’ve lost getting stuck into the DLC and can’t wait for the new stuff to hit PSN!

LOL…I was traveling to Switzerland and California and also didn’t play for 3 weeks, putting on that game was shocking in its beauty.
Seriously, the ONLY thing bad about this game is the voice acting and syncing… seeing people talk is like watching those old Chinese movies.
Besides that, this game is still the gem of 2009.

You could have mentioned the upcoming patch (1.27) Stephany, its meant to come out this month and add new features along with fixes.

I wish they would fix the HORRIBLE shooting first. Worst aim mechanic in any shooter i’ve played. SOOOO Innacurate with randomized bullet strike point.. never hits in the middle of reticule.

did anyone actually finish it? I got to the last boss bloke and, after 15 or so attempts, gave up.

Mushroom— I don’t know, the snipers that tag me regularly online seem to have overcome that problem quite well…haha

I also felt Radec was a bit of a cheat and they tried to get too much out of him.
On the other hand, I found that moving in a constant, broad circle, turning backwards frequently made him easy to get.
I hate boss battles but too my surprise, after finding him impossible at first, simply running around half backwards like a madman meant he never laid a finger on me.

He’s your last foe, too, so it’s worth trying again as once past him you’ve won the whole shooting match.

I tried Radec on Veteran a couple of times but then decided GG can suck my **** and set the difficulty down to easy for that last fight.

There is a rather easy way to get rid of him then: on the ground floor run all the way back into one of the two alcoves at the side you came in in the first place and hug against the wall so he can’t spawn from behind you. Wait for him to teleport and charge at you. Headbutt him 3 or 4 times when he attacks you until he disappears. Just remain in that spot and don’t bother dumbass Rico. Whenever he comes at you headbutt him again. He’ll do this about 4 or 5 times, so be patient. At some point he’ll be stopping to teleport and shoot at you from somewhere outside. Go outside and hit him a few times with your gun until he drops and a cut scene will trigger. Congrats: you just got rid of the twat.

The last (cut)scenes after that are well worth the trouble and belong imo to the best endings in a video game I have experienced.
