Eidos Montreal has confirmed its second title, and, as everyone apart from the deaf, blind, simple man sitting outside the baker’s knew, it’s Thief 4.

The official site’s here.

“Were in the early development stages for Thief 4, but this is an incredibly ambitious project and a very exciting one,” said general manager Stephane D’Astous.

“It’s too early for us to offer any specific game details, right now we are focused on recruiting the very best talent to join the core team at the studio and help us make, what we believe will be one of the most exciting games on the market.”

So there we are. No other detail as yet.

Even T4ief makes more sense than Thi4f.

your moaning about the logo its a typographical design it doesn’t need to make sense. A human can read a word with the beginning and end letters therefor the design is logical and more visually appealing than

T4ief that’s just daft :P sorry but it is

Thankfully it’s not a permanent logo.

This must be medieval leetspeak or something…

You know, back in ye olden days, when 4 still equalled E instead of A… o_O

I hope they won’t fuck up this.

David: T4ief… in no way can you make the 4 represent the E. However, type “77345″ into a calculator and turn it upside down.

Hey presto, the 4 no represents the H.

It’s shit, yes. But it’s not as shit as Thi4f.

Logo fuckwittery aside this is the most exciting announcement since Diablo 3, I just wish I could be equally confident that they won’t fuck it up.
