Codemasters has released a few details on Ashes Cricket 2009 for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

Developed by Transmission Games, every major international team is included along with 18 stadiums from 12 countries, Twenty20 games, one-dayers, a tutorial, test matches, two-player online and four-player offline.

Those familiar with the sport will recognize commentary from Shane Warne and Tony Greig, to name a couple.

Expect it to hit retail this summer, with the Wii version landing later in the year.

Head on over to GameSpot for a look at it along with a developer interview.
