Have a look at the peripheral for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ

scratchturntable

There’s ya a first look at the controller for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ.

It has a “free-spinning, touch-sensitive turntable wheel”, five buttons, and a crossfader implemented on a functional peripheral created by actual turntable manufacturers Numark.

It’s also rumored to have Mp3 functionality.

Sixty songs are said to be included in the game, and in conjunction with the controller, it will run you about $100.00.

Just for giggles, here’s a shot of rival DJ Hero’s controller. Not being biased, just informative.

I’m liking this one a lot more, make me think Tech 12s and proper set up aside from the location of the fader which should have the slier below the buttons but I understand how that would be hard for beginners. I mean could you imagine having to press buttons with finger tips whilst using palm to slide the fader. That would be awesome but hard for the beginner.

i agree that this would be hard for the beginner but i think this is how it would keep gamers hooked.

If you put yourself in the shoes of an actual beginner dj, dj’ing would actually be hard to start out!

this game is pretty much setting you up and giving you a chance to be in those shoes.

not to be a long winded speech, i am anticipating more from scratch!

right now scratch looks so much better than dj hero!
