Ballmer: “Pay attention to the stuff we’re announcing in the next month on Xbox”

payattention

It’s so on. Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer said in Dallas today that the coming month – i.e. E3 – is one to watch for Mr 360.

“Pay attention to the stuff we’re announcing in the next month on Xbox,” he said.

What’s he talking about? If the 50 billion current rumours are to be believed, a big part of it is motion-sensing.

Come on the press conference. Come on. Let’s see Mattrick take some names and make a pencil fly around on a screen with the power of his hand.

Thanks, Kotaku.

Interesting… the big bosses rarely comment on what the entertainment division is up to.

True. They are probably planning to shut down entertainment division.

The games division to be precise.

By the way… He doesn’t know how does their current console is called. Or they are planning to ressurect old one… ;)

@portaprima I ‘think’ I understood that but you’re wrong. He was refering to the Xbox Division or Xbox Platform not the Xbox Console (for instance he would say “on Windows” and mean the latest or future version not windows 1.0), so he is actually right. :D

He was specifically talking about innovation when he said it, too. So odds on it’ll be something I don’t give a crap about. :-D

Odds it will be something to take down the Wii, like they wanted to do with the PS2 last generation….

    Yeah… good luck with that.

Blerk, wishing a second hardware manufacturer luck on cracking the casual/waggle market, is not something I thought I’d hear from you.

Motion control if done right would be a good addition.
15 achievements for waggling your arse. ;0

I’ll be paying attention to Ballmer’s armpits. The guy runs Microsoft. He can afford some effective deodorant.

    What do you mean? :)

That vid didn’t work. But this one of calm, controlled, understated Steve Ballmer did!

He’s just enthusiastic/passionate about ‘Developers’ and ‘this company’ (Microsoft) :)

Makes what he says much less interesting if everything that’s quite so mundane, he’s been able to ‘explode’.
