The US Eagles DLC pack for HAWX will be available on May 7 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

The pack includes the F-4 Phantom II, Blackbird, F-111 Aardvark, A-12 Avenger stealth bomber prototype, and a reconnaissance variant based flyer called the Peak Eagleon which is based on the F-15.

It’ll set you back 400 MS Points ($5).

IGN has posted a few shots. Go take a look.

Learning to love this game, but wouldn’t spend one penny to buy another plane.

Now, I’d pay a tenner to get take-off and landing……

When I saw this list the first thing that jumped out at me was the F-111 Aardvark, an airframe I still have no idea how it got sliped through the cracks. Why you want to fly an airframe that will fall aprt on you is beyound me, but then again the A-12 Avenger never even got completed so they can stick anything in there and no one can say they are since not a single airframe was delivied. The SR-71 Blackbird is a really cool airframe but the coolest thing is going stupid fast in a straight line, where you would not be able to see anything… which in a flight slim with no gees to make going that fast fun what is the point?

So while the F-4 are sweet I’m not sure I’d trust them to do a decent job considering the planes they chose.

This is not a flight sim. Every plane handles the same, you don’t get a true sense of speed and you get several hundred missiles/bombs per level. It’s an arcade game really – and a good one too.

    I still want take-off and landing though….
