Most games do it disastrously. It never feels natural, and its usually way too sensitive to boot. I’m not big on the motion control thing myself, but Flower is one game where I couldn’t imagine playing it any other way.

Seriously, you’re completely robbing yourselves if you don’t give it a try.

You’re definitely missing out. You’ll never play such an indulgently relaxing video game in your life.

In fact, I’d said it’s one of the best uses for it I’ve ever seen. It’s one of the few games where it actually feels entirely natural to sit back and just move the controller around to move around the game world.

Something that improves both FPS’s and RTS’s would help gaming a lot, I think.

Literal waggle is pretty inane. But again, it needs to be applied to non-casual gameplay concepts to work, and the Wii just doesn’t sell core.

Waggle can work for sure actually.

I hope so much that whatever this control is, that Ueda will use it in his 4th game. He is a master of control schemes.

The Wii controller is excellent for pointing. And that’s it. Motion control is a complete bust because nobody knows how to use it for anything useful.

I will concede that some kind of pointer thingy for proper consoles would be good. But you can stuff your waggle up your arse. Matron.

They can’t make casual games, they won’t sell at all.

These will have to be implemented into games properly, and seriously, more kinetic controls is ONLY a good thing.

I hate the association with casual and waggle, as if they are directly associated. Waggle may have sold casual, but waggle isn’t a bad thing. Especially if it’s an extra peripheral.
