PSP and PS3 versions of Rock Band will not make beautiful music together

Or any sort of music, for that matter. Speaking with 1UP, Harmonix said that the upcoming pint-sized version of Rock Band won’t be able to interact with its bigger, more plastic-intensive brother.
Does this mean we’ll have to buy new songs twice — once on each platform? That sounds a bit like highway robbery, if you ask us.
Guess the lack of money-gobbling peripherals kind of makes up for that, though. And really, we’re grateful to anyone who doesn’t glue their game to a tiny, multi-colored hand torture device. Have to keep things in perspective, after all.

Both factions created more than 3,800 stories with five missions each, resulting in more content that the developers created since the MMO’s inception.
In a letter posted on the game’s community site, Matt “Positron” Miller said that the mission architect “exceeded any expectation we have set for it.”

Dragon Age’s elves hate humans, aren’t “angelic,” says Muzyka

Dragon Age: Origins isn’t just another generic fantasy RPG with Tolkein-style elves and humans, BioWare has told Gamsutra.
“Elves in Lord of the Rings are very angelic,” said company boss Ray Muzyka.
“Dragon Age flipped that convention on its head. Elves are not special — well, not to everybody. To themselves, maybe; but to humans, they were a slave race for a while. They were enslaved, captured, and defeated.
“As a result, there’s a hatred. The elves hate the humans. The humans despise the elves and regard them as second-class citizens. Imagine playing as an elf in that world, interacting with humans. Imagine playing as humans traveling to the origin and seeing how elves were treated. You have that opportunity.”
Game’s out for PC, 360 and PS3 later this year. Full interview through the link.
