Rumour: Is this the first official mention of Forza 3?

Microsoft Brazil, apparently speaking at a community event at the firm’s offices in São Paulo, has shown what looks to be a partially covered Forza logo in a line-up of games hitting at the end of the year.
Watch the video after the break. The logo pops up on the screen at 6:58, and it met by whistles and cheers from the audience.
Real? If not, someone’s gone to a hell of a lot of pain to construct a fake Microsoft demonstration, complete with Microsoft lecturn.
As far as we’re aware, the game’s a cert for 2009 and should be announced at E3.
Thanks, Forza Central.

It has been said before, but it’s still amazing to realize that 3 Forza games will have been released in a shorter timespan than a single Gran Turismo game…

…and that’s why GT will always be superior…

Is there anything else in there that’s new, then? Can’t say I’m particularly interested in Forza.

Before we start laughing, and slamming Forza 3 or GT, lets let them come out first.

Blerk – They’ve never mentioned it on the record before. That’s it, really.

Seriously, anyone who thinks Forza is better than GT is simply in denial.

Yes, it’s real. I’m from Brazil and was there last saturday during Microsoft anounces Forza 3. This presentation is from Gilherme Camargo, marketing manager for Xbox 360 in Brazil. Microsoft didn’t say nothing more, just show a blured image of Forza 3 logo.

Razor… take your pointless argument to the Forza forums or something, you may have more success with your trolling there.

I think GT’s crap as well. What do I win?

You win a gun, a bullet, and a one way trip to the desert.

People who don’t like any racing simulators might as well dress in the star and spangles, and decorate their home with George Bush memorabilia.
I don’t know why I think the Barack Obama generation of Americans will like racers. xD

I love em both. I appreciate that makes me a freak. That said, the metacritic ratings for Forza 2 and GT4 are virtually identical so there can’t be too much in it.
There’s good and bad points to both games.

I see no reason to have to hate one if you like the other. There’s very little difference between the two.

Exactly. I think they are both pretty great.
Infact recently with the GT5 rumours, I ahve been back on GT5P, loving the drifting, once I learnt how to tweak the car properly.
And I was round a mates a couple weeks back playing Forza 3, and thats amazing too.
I hope GT5 has 4 player split screen!

The Gran Turismo series definitely started console racing realism but the series doesn’t have the community that Forza 2 has.
If you look at the art and tuning that goes on in Forza and the forums / website, you’ll see something that Gran Turismo is sorely lacking. The game came out 2 years ago and it’s still easy to go online and have a large selection of lobbies to join.
I’m also wondering why Gran Turismo doesn’t have a standing start for any races. It’s always a rolling start.

Freudian slip, ofcourse.
Or is it!?
