Rumor no more: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat confirmed

GSC Game World has announced it is indeed working on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat for PC.
Rumored earlier in the month, the third title in the series is a stand-alone version that will continue the storyline from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Expect a new story, characters, side quests, interface, and a new A-Life system combining best-liked elements from the first two games.
Call of Pripyat is just the working title at the moment, so if it changes don’t blame us.
The game is set for an autumn release.

Shadow of Chernobyl was one of the best games I’ve ever played. Clear Sky was not. Specially the confusing beginning with the army base which causes most folk to give up and quit. A terrible design decision, sending you on a path where you die instead of the other path where you don’t. Ruins the game in around an hour for most folks like loki. The original is still amazing though.

Certainly, the Clear Sky on a gameplay and atmosphere concedes to Shadow of Chernobyl, but the drawing became much better (have especially liked idea with shades). There passed both parts, game a class! I hope Call of Pripyat will not disappoint.
P.S. I do not know, whether you have guessed, but I Russian and write through the translator =)
