Hit the link for lovely new screens of Double Fine’s Brutal Legend.

The title was shown in London last week, and packs promise with a capital “p”.

It’s out this autumn. You will buy it and play it.

Hmm… I know nothing of this game.

What is it?

- It’s been made by gaming comic genius Tim Schafer.
- The lead character is voiced by Jack Black.

That’s all you need to know.

Lutz: Go play Psychonauts for a recent example of his work.

Amazing game (except for that bloody meat circus)…

Want to try Psychonauts. I hear LOTS of good, but then every now and again, there’s someone who isn’t giddy with Schafer-itis who says it’s basically an average platformer, with an interesting story and great writing.

Psychonauts is a very well-designed and imaginative platformer (for the most part) which has a lot of fun with its story and settings.

Example: Lungfishopolis \o/

It’s great :)

Psychonauts art style, story telling, humor, and gameplay are all top shelf. The character development and story vision are unsurpassed. An incredible and fun gaming experience.
Same thing for Grim Fandango, another masterpiece.

I expect the same from Brutal Legend.

You really should give it a whirl No_PUDding, it is superb.

As said, incredibly imaginative (crazy level ideas) and very very funny. Made me literally lol whilst playing and I dunno many games that have ever done that to me.

Can you get it cheap on Steam these days…? Or just pick it up for the Xbox.

Do it… :)
