Well, cack depends on how you look at it, really.
The Wii Metroid looks cack on a technical level if you’re comparing it with something like KillZone. On the other hand though, Metroid has a good deal more flair when it comes to art style than KillZone does.
The Conduit seems to have a unique look too, so I’m willing to give it a fair shake.

I agree that Metroid Prime 3 has ‘more flair’ than Killzone 2 ‘when it comes to art style’, but (and let’s be really honest here) The Conduit’s art style is as generic, bland, and uninspired as Killzone 2 and Gears of War ever were.
At least those two games were impressive on a technical level, but The Conduit looks technically unimpressive compared to Metroid Prime 3 on the same console. There’s nothing ‘unique’ about it, it looks like a tarted up N64 game with a really generic art style.
The only thing that I’m curious about is the controls, FPS games should work really well on the Wii with it’s pointer, but so far only Prime 3 has convinced in terms of control. We shall see.
