Using Vita-Chambers will make Bioshock 2 game world “different,” says 2K

2K Marin’s Melissa Miller, senior producer on Bioshock 2, has told MTV that using Vita-Chambers in Bioshock 2 will make the game seem “very different.”
Apparently, the default Vita-Chamber setting will be “off,” but enabling them will not only regenerate your health, but also that of your enemies.
There’s plenty more through the link.
Bioshock 2 comes out later this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Thats interesting, Bioshock (first) was a pretty hard game, this should add abit more strategy.

It got pretty easy once you had the fast firing shotgun with plenty of electric ammo. It only took until Arcadia for me to start killing Big Daddies with no trouble at all on hard.

Wouldn’t that mean we’d have to redo the whole fighting again as if we were in some sort of replay? Forgive me but this is either pretty obscure or totally dumb

Perhaps the vita-chambers will only recharge health when you visit them this time rather than being a sort of “death transporter”.

In other words, vita-chambers will function as checkpoints do in every other game?
