Sony promises “electrifying announcement” on April 27
Over on the official US Sony site, a lovely flash video claims that an “electrifying announcement” will be made on April 27.
The video throws inFamous and Uncharted 2 into the mix, so it’s something regarding one of the two.
Or both. We honestly have no idea.
Guess we’ll find out come Monday.

Uncharted 2 demo so soon? I doubt that. And hasnt the Infamous demo already been dated?

Its not that soon. Sony Portugal said September release. So we are talking 4 months early for the demo which may be a beta for the new multiplayer thats rumored.

They absolutely did say that. Fortunately I know better then to accept anything until its fact. However Screw Attack let loose of a rumor this morning..the normal “from an inside source” blah…
-The sequel will have multiplayer but details are vague
-Regular multiplayer
-Also co-op multiplayer, but co-op is not single player with another person
Take it how you want…I’ll just wait and see. Anything is possible I guess.

Could be the announcement regarding BOTH having multiplayer.
I remember them teasing multiplayer on inFamous, and then just completely blanking questions about it. Although never denying it outright, just assumed they canned it quietly.

I don’t think they’d double-announce multiplayer for two unrelated games.
I’m going with information on the demos.
