Final Fantasy lifetime sales top 85 million

Square's revealed lifetime sales figures for its big RPG franchises as part of its moves to takeover Eidos, showing Final Fantasy as having sold over 85 million units worldwide.

Dragon Quest has moved more than 47 million copies for the firm, and Kingdom Hearts has shifted a staggering 12 million copies globally.
