Why cover the Nintendo conference, where you know its most likely gonna be shit, compared to Microsoft or Sony?

Confusing title. The article states that they will broadcast all major press conferences, but the title makes it sound like they will only cover the one from Nintendo. That would be madness!
Anyways, the online streams will be free right?
And does this mean that there will be no other live streams, like for example last years IGN Live Wire.

Only one broadcaster allowed at a press conference?
Will this be free?

Does anybody actually watch the damn things anyway? Everything gets liveblogged/news-posted within seconds anyway, without having to listen to moronic execs drone on about why they’re the ‘bestest’.

Blerk the trailers and walktrhoguhs are as live as they can get on the Live coverage.
It’s great when something goes wrong, or something goes right.
Man I can’t believe anyone DOESN’T watch them!

I usually watch them, they are quite entertaining. Sometimes in a bad but good kind of way…
Didn’t know who Olivia Munn was until now either but good spot that man

You can watch everything later on in better quality with all the boring shit taken out. Watching live is like watching awards shows – nobody cares about the actual event, you just want to know who won.
