Killzone 2 patch next week, big list of stuff fixed

SCEA’s released patch notes for a large Killzone 2 patch, scheduled to release on April 22.
An absolute ton of stuff’s added and tweaked in the update. Get the lot from the US boards.

Is it just me, or were games released in a much stabler condition in previous generations?

Dunno, most patches seem to address online multiplayer which was in about 1% of games last generation. Plus, they fix issues now instead of recalling games or just leaving it broken. Bethesda have never released a product that works from the get go, as well, they had to re-release morrowind because of it’s dire state.

freedoms_stain, it is true, but I wouldnt blame devs for that. Bugged games always existed, and I always thought it was because of the tech generally becoming more complex
GTAIV for PC is a horrendous abortion, anyway, and that’s only Rockstar’s fault
