Team Bondi looking to hire extra folks for LA Noire

LA Noire developer Team Bondi has posted up a list of job openings specific for the game on its official website.
Opportunities include 3D car modelers and layout artists, a senior and junior level designer, and a senior gameplay programmer.
If you fit the bill, hit the link.
Team Bondi made a previous push last July to hire new staffers, leaving some to believe the game was reaching its final stage of development.
That was not the case, apparently, and there’s still no word on when this Rockstar joint venture can be expected.

I though this had been canned. Good to see it’s still going… albeit slowly.

Is that an actual in-game shot at the top of the jobs page?

Well I was excited ages ago. I still am. It’s just that, ‘coming from the developers of The Getaway’ is only a little less unnerving than ‘coming from the developers of True Crime’.
So who knows. Want a 3D point and click free roaming adventure.

Long development dosnt mean a game will be good, actually alot of examples point to the opposite.

They are probably having trouble dealing with an overly ambitious design scope. We shall see.

That, or because this is their first project and they are essentially a start up needing to build up their studio gradually when needed. With Rockstar taking a liking to them I doubt they will have many problems securing funds to expand, but the length of development thus far could be down to more than anything the fact they are so small, so whilst they are taking their time, they probably aren’t running up that much of a bill.

E3 reveal sounds good. And about time, too.

Aye, at least it looks like they are now in a position to start building/churning out car models and levels so perhaps they are finally making progress.
I can imagine the kind of planning that would go into a game with that kind of scope and it sounds like a nightmare/starting it up from scratch anyway. Hopefully using GTA source code should help a bit..
