Mafia II screenshots and video look mobalicious

Very nice looking shots for Mafia II were released on the official website today.
In addition, there’s a video of it posted after the break, featuring footage full of shooting, cursing, and other Mafia-related goodies.
2K Czech’s sandbox shooter is expected sometime around Halloween for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Thanks, JCC.

Looks amazing. Sure it’s doing the exact same thing as other games with it’s cover shooting and open world driving, but it has flair, and by the looks of it, the quasi-hitman style set up’s to the missions. Just like the original I’d wager it’s going to be a game far above it’s parts.

There’s always another man with you, shooting or driving. It’s co-op, then?

Nice pistol sound effects. Very beefy.
Chnaces this is the PC version are high though, and I don’t expect the same visuals from the console versions.

@No_PUDding going by the aiming I thought it seemed like a controller was being used, so I’m thinking console version.

ah, the usual shoot thru vodka bottles moment is here
seems a bit too typical to me, but it’s got its own style

@Daodan:exactly and the bullets seem to take some time before it reaches its target too
also i am looking forward to see how this is gonna be,
Maifa had one of the best care chases ,oh and those chases in the dark at night ,where you could get hit by train if you werent too careful
good memories ,i remember at the time my S3 vga card barley handled it

Looking pretty good, very GTA IV. Bad guys seem a little too bullet-proof to be believable at the minute, though. Just how many machine gun rounds can a guy take before he falls over?
