Sure, it wasn’t the best title gameplay-wise, but still very impressing.
innovative games rarely deliver on all fronts but I’m still glad i played games like Assassin’s Creed, Mirror’s Edge or Flower.

It wasnt the best content-wise either, and the pacing was crappy to, i could even argue that it was just to easy because it pretty much played itself at times and insta-kill moves ruined the combat, gfx looked nice though, and the story was interesting…

Yes, it’s the graphics and the story I really liked. Is that not enough if delivered very well like in AC1?
… ah, and I also liked the easiness of the game.

Its enought for a film i guess, a game needs a little more though. I’ll be getting AC2, pretty much giving the series a last chance, though i’m going to try not to buy into the hype.

Saw the postcard Pat posted yesterday and it reminded me I should start playing AssCreed1 because it has sat unplayed on my shelf for so long.

Am about 2 hours in, finished the first Damascus kill. I can’t work out if each mission is going to feel fun and interesting or if its going to turn into a tedious, repetitive slog if I have to do 9 of these things the same each time.

Reading Bramwell’s review on EG, I suspect the latter.

It shows so much promise and stuff to be excited about though, so I hope they improve for Ass 2

@ TheDifficult3rdAlbum

I’m up to Memory Block 4 and so far it’s been the same thing over and over, but in a different city.

They step things up in Block 4 where you have to asassinate someone in each of the three cities!!!

You need to start finding your personal enemies. I chose the beggars and all those soldiers on the roofs.

/jump-assassinates beggar, before she can say a word
/throws guard off the roof onto a food stall
/falls in canal
/dies :(

The blog is written by a woman though, not a man. :)
