Six Days in Fallujah may not make it to Europe

sixdaysinfallujaha2

According to GamePro.de, Konami reps at a Frankfurt event last week said the publisher’s still undecided on whether or not to release Six Days in Fallujah in Europe.

Apparently, the way the game’s action is depicted will dictate if the title’s released outside the US.

Six Days in Fallujah is planned for a 2010 launch for PC, PS3 and 360.

Thanks, Joystiq and Eurogamer.

In other words Konami have no faith in the title and want to see if its worth bothering to publish it in Europe.

Maybe in the European version you get to play a poorly-equipped and under-trained resistance fighter who still bravely fights against the world’s largest and powerful war machine that’s illegally invaded his country?

Nah, I reckon it’s a “cultural difference,” thing. The general attitude toward the war in the US is far more “patriotic” than it is over here. SCi had to rename the second Conflict: Desert Storm for release in Europe for the same reason. It was called “Back to Baghdad” in the US.

i’m going to bet he meant ‘non-english retail’ or even ‘german retail’, i’d see no reason why the game wont ship in england

i also wont write it off as being shite until i see some previews at the very least
