Final Fantasy XIII releasing in Japan this “winter”
We knew that Final Fantasy XIII would be released in Japan for PS3 sometime this year, we just weren’t sure when. Fret no longer: the game’s demo confirms it’ll land this winter in Japan.
The hour-long taster’s included in the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, releasing this week in Japan.
The full game will release for the rest of the globe sometime in 2010.

I’m really looking forward to the game, but I’m happy to wait. I used to import tons of games from Japan a few years ago, but I’m kinda chilled about it now. I’m happy to wait a little longer for our conversion.

The US will probably get it atleast 4 or 5 months before Europe, isnt that how FF games have always worked?

yeah, and US will probably come out like 6 months after the japanese one. I meant what’s the problem, you could import the NA one.

Alot of people probably will if it does indeed come out in the US first, though it’ll still be along wait from Japan to the US, 6 months sounds like the minimum.

They have said that the US and EU releases will be closer this time around.
