Game Informer cover proves Assassin’s Creed 2 character pic is legit

assassinscreed24

Looks like the character shot for Assassin’s Creed 2 that hit earlier this morning was legitimate after all.

Game Informer has the cover of its May issue posted here.

Ezio Auditore de Firenze definitely looks smashing.

Full photo after the break.

That’s not Altair. You will play as Ezio Auditore de Firenze

Well. Maybe not. So I will change it. But whoever he is he looks smashing ;-)

Cool that it’s basically the same outfit as last time, only changed a bit to suit the clothing style of the era.

So we going to be stabbing up some Italians this time?

Hopefully so, the jumped-up little cunts.

Great, so there is no evidence to suggest that yet again, this is going to be a art-driven game that looks good but has nothing under the bonnet. :P

Imagine if they actually released some new gameplay details? What if they actually looked to improve the mechanics in this version instead of it being a pretty MGS clone with new clothing?

Really? I mean, really?

FUCK the haters – you’re all obviously mongoloids. AssCreed 2 will be super-duper awesome! Adored the first game, am hyper-excited for the sequel. Please make it a four-parter, Ubi!

This time whenever you want to enter a walled/guarded town or city you “blend” with a group of foppish Italian playboys, and instead of bowing in scholarly thought you have to know what colour tights is hot in court this season.

He’s looking cool. I want this to improve on the gameplay, make the freerunning more challenging please, holding a button isn’t hard, it’s just holding a button. That’s why it’s called holding a button.

“That’s why it’s called holding-a-button.”

Gamoc, you forgot the hyphens.

No I didn’t. I forgot quotation marks, though.

That’s why it’s called ‘holding a button’.

That looks kind of weird – almost like he’s wearing two outfits at the same time. A sort of cross-dresser, if you will. :-)

…That was a terrible pun. I liked it. If you show up here in the next 5 seconds, I’ll give you a piece of this easter egg I am about to start eating. Tick tock.
