“No plans” for Fatal Frame Wii in Europe

Nintendo has “no plans” to release Fatal Frame Wii in Europe, according to this Spong report.
Tecmo confirmed yesterday that Nintendo of America won’t be releasing the horror in the US, so it looks as though the game won’t make it outside Japan.
No so good. At least you can look forward to throwing a virtual frisby in July, western core Wii gamers.
Thanks, Blerk.

This would’ve been a dead-cert purchase for me.

Hey Nintendo. Sell the game to a smaller publisher. You’ll make money and people get the game they want. Everyone wins.

They’re really determined to set the hard core against them. When you consider the amount of shit that system plays host to, it’s mind boggling that they’re refusing to publish this.
NoA is still refusing to publish Disaster: Day of Crisis, on the pretence that it’s not a good enough title (this despite the fact that it’s probably the most fun I’ve had on the Wii).
Poor show Nintendo.

This’ll still happen, it just might be delayed a bit. NOE wouldn’t advertise it in a European mag and then just drop it. That’d be too far even for Nintendo.

I was thinking of getting this, the only thing putting me off was that i didnt play the older games so i wasnt sure if i could follow the story… Looks like Nintendo decided for me though!

I’ve played the first two games, then I got bored of this stuff.
