Zipper Interactive’s Tony Iuppa has told NowGamer that upcoming PS3 exclusive MAG was never intended to have an offline component.

“MAG is 100 percent multiplayer and has been since day one,” he said.

“This has let us spend all of our development resources on creating a deeper MP experience, which supports tight shooter gameplay seen in games like COD, but that’s just the foundation of our offering.”

Iuppa went on to say that his game is differentiated from the likes of Call of Duty by the fact it’s an online-only title.

“Call of Duty is a great franchise, and we expect them to continue to make great shooters,” he said.

“What really sets MAG apart from CoD and other shooters on the market, however, is our multiplayer focus.”

More through there.

That’s no different from what I’m seeing. It could be they are just saying that if CoD focused mored on Multiplayer, they could be a better online experience.

That is just a speculation, in fact, it would have to deliver since it is only online. It does set itself apart because other than that, it has nothing else. Which in regard to what they are offering, sounds AWESOME. I eagerly await what they have to show us :D
