New Heavy Rain artwork posted [Update]

This set is a lot more grim than I expected. I thought it would be a simple PG-13 themed death game.

The details of the environments in those shots look pretty good.

Lusogamer is a little late to the party with this one.

They need to hype this game more. Like they should start years before it will be released. That always work out well.

Not really, only that seeing as Quantic are meant to be proving to us all how brilliant narrative-centred games are supposed be, it’s hardly confidence-inspiring that they’re already showing off which tired cliches they’re going to plunder.

I was simply asking you to elaborate on how you feel its ripping it off. I don’t see it myself, and was curious as to your reasons for thinking it is.

Well, I’d the parallels with Basic Instinct are pretty difficult to ignore. That shot even looks like one of the frames from the film. I’m basically being HUGELY dismissive, obviously. But then I hated Fahrenheit with a passion rarely seen.
