World of Warcraft was &quot;announced&quot; three years before it ever hits the shelves. It was quite a different looking game back then to what we ended up with as well.

MMORPGs have notoriously long development cycles. Considering the degree of content that needs to be developed, and the complicated infrastructures required to run them, that&#039;s not surprising.

Anyway, it makes sense to launch this around the same same time as the Marvel Movie Marathon (lol) that&#039;s planned for 2011 - 2012. Should be worth looking out for.</description>
