The game sucked, what’s with it being so popular? I’ve never been so bored to death with ANY game in my entire life as I was with Tales of Vesperia.

Yeah, it came out over here in 2006. Pretty good too, although a bit retro in it’s mechanics.

I’d forgotten about the PSP version of Eternia, actually – that did make it to Europe, didn’t it?

Tales of Eternia and Tales of Symphonia are both “proper” Tales games, even though they were released on handhelds. If they were actually any good is another question though.

I think this is only the second ‘proper’ Tales game to make it to Europe, so it’s something of an event. We’ve not had one since Symphonia, crappy handheld versions aside.

I prefered Tales of the Abyss to be honest :/. Well I suppose if you liked Abyss you might get along with Vesperia seeing as the actual game is pretty much identical. Abyss had less smoking talking dogs and carrying a sword like a hand-bag though.
