GameTrailers has posted the first video of Fallout 3 DLC, The Pitt.

Shows loads of shooting, a baddie getting hit in the face with a flamethrower: nice stuff really.

It lands on March 24. Hit the jump to watch.

  1. SplatteredHouse

Saw this, earlier, and the location didn’t look in any way insubstantial, but then, I read on here that the makers say that it adds four extra hours to overall play of Fallout 3…Given, that no-one’s obliged to buy this if they don’t want to, I just find myself wondering: As brilliant as it seems visually and competent in theme, why bother having it on your HDD, if it’s a four hour long one-shot location?

Does the parent game refer to it? Is there any sort of lead-in progression, that buying this pack adds to FO3 vanilla, or do you simply one day look at your map, and exclaim ‘I swear that wasn’t there before! I’d better see what its about..’ Do these packs integrate seamlessly into FO3, or are they essentially, “added attractions”? :)

The first pack was pretty seamless. This area is only referred to in the story.
