Platinum Games: MadWorld is a “reason to buy a Wii”
Platinums’ Atsushi Inaba has said that MadWorld’s a Wii system seller.
“We’ve had positive feedback online from users who’ve said that this is a must-buy, that it’s a reason to buy a Wii,” he told Kikizo.
Why Wii? It all boils down to “pick up and play” ability, apparently.
“The main reason is we wanted to create a new title for the Wii specifically, and if we developed for other platforms, we wouldn’t be able to develop a new title, new ideas,” he said. “We wanted to make something that was easy to pick up and play.”
Game’s out March 10 and 20 in the US and UK respectively.

honestly, it was what made me decide that sum time, even if not soon, i HAVE to get one…eventually.

I did gain interest in this at one point but the reviews put me right off; time limits? Forced to achive a sertain score to advance? Small maps? only about 5 hours of game? This should be in arcades rather then on a console…
