BioWare: PS3 is “a really amazing platform to work on”

raymuzykar

BioWare’s Ray Muzyka has told Play magazine – via Joystiq – that PS3 is “a really amazing platform to work on”.

So much so, in fact, that apparently BioWare is considering joining the MMO PS3 crowd if the firm can figure its way around challenges with the console interface design.

Star Wars MMO The Old Republic will not end up on PS3 though he said, but the developer is considering “other MMO games in the future”.

“, so is 360. Wii is as well.”

You missed that part of the quote. ;)

some more quoting:
“… The PlayStation 3 is a really amazing platform to work on, so is 360. Wii is as well. All of them are really advanced relative to the systems of 10-20 years ago. That’s why I think it’s exciting to be developing on any system right now in the videogame space …”

Ah Shatner, you’re a sly one. I will have to keep my eye on you ;-)

“BioWare is considering joining the MMO PS3 crowd”

Not the 360 MMO crowd, or the Wii MMO crowd–thus the PS3-centric format of the whole post.

Also, though I don’t know if this was also your intention, it adds to the growing list of quotes which counter the claim from some developers (and LOTS of self-appointed/armchair experts) that they struggle with the PS3.

He was later seen wiping his brown nose, with a brown paper bag. FILLED WITH GREEN CASH! THE FILTHY MOUTHPIECE!
