A Boy and his Blob remake shown in Nintendo Power

Nintendo Power‘s put up first screens and art for A Boy and is Blob, a Wii remake of the ancient franchise.
The 1990 NES game was created by Pitfall! designer David Crane, apparently.
Some knickers are being twisted over this. We hold our hands up: we’ve never heard of it.
Not sure when it’s out.

GB and NES.
I liked the concept more than the actual game when I got around to playing it.

I like the graphical style they’ve gone for here. And the idea of the game has lots of potential – with a bit more power on-tap (and it is only a bit more, ha ha, etc.) perhaps they can actually do it some justice this time.

The gameplay is going to feel quite shallow next to Scribblenauts.

It’s not a Nintendo release. And Kid Icarus was crap – people really need to get over that.

It’s an Activision IP, isn’t it? Has that changed?

Speaking of Nintendo Power, they reviewed Madworld in the same edition.
9/10.

It’s kinda sad how giggly and excited this news makes me…
