6. To have a 3 year warranty on something

9. To play easy burned games on the affordable DVD format with a modded system (saves money in bad economy )

Just so you know, there are many of us on this site that own more than one machine, and purchase games for them and enjoy them for their own merits, regardless of what platform they run on.

$100 for ps1 and ps2
$100 for card readers/wifi/60gb HDD
$200 for ps3
$200 for Blu-ray

to tech heads yea it was worth it.
to sony loyalist yea it was worth it.
to gamers yea it was worth it
to ppl trying to make a profit on ebay it was worth it.
to xbots no it wasn’t worth it.

With the way people talk about the consoles though, you’d have thought Sony were way more than 30% down. It doesn’t seem too far fetched to think that a major push and price cut this year could start pulling them back into the game
