Justice and Survivors aren’t in Lionhead production

A Lionhead spokesperson has just told VG247 that Justice and Survivors are old Lionhead concepts and are not in production at the studio.
Concept art created by Leading Light Design appeared last night, but we’re assured neither points to an actual game.
Peter Molyneux is to speak at GDC next month, and is likely to announce his next project.
The developer has already said the game is based on a single premise.

Yeah, I just mentioned it in the earlier article, from GI.
Still, tis a shame. Justice would have been a game I would have loved to have played

Man I hate Peter Molyneux, he is such a douche. This single premise I assume will be either ‘over promising’ or perhaps ‘downright lying’ about game features. There … I contributed.

They did look cool, but I did think it was weird it seemed to be relatively chronological.
And they don’t seem that simple cocnepts you know?
Anyway, Molyneux is his own worst enemy, he deserves the backlash he gets. Doesn’t mean he isn’t a visionary in every sense of the word.
Lets see what he has to offer at GDC

If it’s like that portal thing he did a few years ago, where it’s actually nothgin relevant I will be a little bit pissed off.
More interested in what will be retailing.

He doesn’t deserve all he gets, though. He’s a guy with big ambitions – he sets his goals super-high and ultimately doesn’t achieve them a lot of the time. But sofuckingwhat? I’d rather have one Peter than a dozen formulaic ‘aim low, no risk’ bozos any day.

He doesn’t deserve a tenth of it. He’s just the way he is. Fable II was a huge hit for Microsoft.

I remember being tipped off about those artworks about a year ago, so they aren’t even new to that website… FALSE ALARM!

TBF, I think Fable II met the hype pretty well probably because Molyneux didnt hype it to beyond infinity like previous projects.
Although mind you, Microsoft PR probably had a hand in it… and some tape mind

I really enjoyed Fable 2, or so the 60+ hours on the clock will attest to. The Movies also. And Black & White, the second one too.
Ok ok, I like all his games.
I want more cyber punk though.

Blerk and Pat, that’s bullshit…
Be ambitious sure, but he was a born PR man, and when you oversell your product you deserve the backlash.
Even Fable 2 didn’t deliver on the promises of Fable. And just becuase it sold well, doesn’t mean it was a great game. We are aware of this right?
Anyway, sorry I get the sympathy for him, becuase I think he’s clever and his games sound exciting, and he has this really distinctive style that appeals to me, when I didn’t understand a whole lot about games. By that I mean he seems to retain the vision of a mainstream user, and not be bogged down by the details and ‘art’ of the medium.
But the backlash he gets is totally just, you cannot say your game will have features it won’t.

Shame, sounded promising. Oh well, in Peter I trust!

It’s only PR if he’s just blowing air to try and entice people in. I truly believe that Peter actually wants to get all the stuff he talks about into the games. He’s not just selling you a line, he’s selling you his dream. As far as I’m concerned he’s one of the most genuine people in the entire industry.

Molyneux is a “born PR man” Pud? You’re kidding right? The guy is the mad scientist that you don’t show to the investors, he’s the greasy savant coder that you don’t let deal with the customers. The guy is a PR disaster.

Survivors looks interesting. Is that ageing characters and environments I see?
A post-apocalyptic simulator would make my day.

Well that’s totally true Psychotext, actually.
He IS a PR worst nightmare. But why is he still such a mouthpiece?
I do believe that too Blerk by the way, as I said, I think he’s clever and genuinely wants this stuff in there. But you deserve a backlash if you can’t keep your mouth shut.
Regardless of how nice a guy you are.
