World in Conflict: Soviet Assault trailer details RTS expansion

Ubisoft has released a new trailer of Massive’s World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. Watch it after the break.
Played from the Soviet perspective of World in Conflict’s fictional Hot War, the game offers six new single-player missions along with eight new multiplayer maps.
Like Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Soviet Assault allows you to call in reinforcements or new units by using context menus and voice communication via the headset.
The trailer’s narrated by Alec Baldwin and shows the 1989 alternate reality beginnings of World War III in Berlin.

Woah did this game sell well?
I figured not many people played it so I never gave it a chance.

I dont think it did because the specs were so high for it. But Sierra worked flat out to promote it. The game is simply brilliant. Online is alot of fun and simply to get into and the missions are pretty cool, although there is too much ‘hand holding’.
I can’t wait for this as it will make up for the disappointment in Dawn of War 2. I’m glad Ubi picked this one up. You can also get it on the 360

Euh, WiC is one of the most scaleable PC games ever and definitely not a system hardware hog like SupCom, CoH or DoW II now (all excellent games in their own right though for the rest).
I would buy this addon if it came packaged and with new units but that’s not the case.
