And that’s why it’s ditching PS3 exclusivity for some decent sales on the 360.

That kind of depends on whether anyone actually buys their 360 games, of course.

As much as I like the 360 games SE has put on the 360, they haven’t exactly sparked any reviewers fires now have they?

If anything Square has lost the most money on making and publishing those 360 exclusives that no one wanted in the end.

That is still a substantial cut to the income forecast, if they did proper remakes for the next gen consoles of the classics that would get them money. I’m talking about FF7, Chrono trigger FF8, Chrono Cross etc

I’ve often wondered why they seem so reluctant to actually do that Final Fantasy 7 remake that the entire internet seems to be screaming for. They appear to be quite happy to just repeatedly give us 1-6 over and over again on a variety of comedy platforms, what’s the problem with 7?

I heard they want the entire original team back to do it, thats all well and good but some of them could have retired now or moved out of the industry or not know how to code for the next gen consoles etc. As long as they can keep the artists and the storylines guys there from the original team and get some really good people who can cope with next gen platforms that should be enough. Also a lot of money as well.

I don’t see Sakaguchi coming back any time soon.
