Sega teases Project Ringo
Sega’s posted a teaser site for something called Project Ringo, as you can see here.
“Ringo” is Japanese for “apple,” apparently.
More info’s promised on February 24.

Sonic Unleashed wasn’t exactly great now was it?
What I find more odd about it, is the fact its aimed at kids and it has some rather brutal objectives in the game namely the hotdog missions for eggmanland that i don’t think hardly anyone will complete let alone 3 times (thats what the hotdog missions ask you to do-without dying once).

I really don’t know what to make of this, if true. DreamCast 2 could really be great (given the reputation of its predecessor), but, on the other hand, a forth competitor in the console wars during a recession as a joint product with Apple of all companies (who, let’s face it, usually don’t release cheap products) could be an economic disaster…
My guess is a classic 2D Sonic ring-collecting game for iPod Touch / iPhone.
