Rumour: Naka in London today, Let’s Tap for Europe and US [Update]

letstap2

Update: Confirmed. Thanks, Blerk.

VG247′s learned that Yuji Naka is to appear at a Sega event in London today, so don’t be monumentally surprised if Let’s Tap’s announced for release in both the US and Europe this afternoon.

Sega’s just given a “no comment” on the chatter.

Rumour surfaced overnight suggesting the Wii oddity’s to see light of day in the US.

Let’s Tap is Naka’s first game as leader of new dev Prope. Hit this for more details.

This is the game which sold about four copies in Japan, right? Where they’re generally into ‘batshit mental’ stuff. Are people really going to go for a game where you ‘tap a box’ over here? It hardly seems worth the bother of flying him over.

And furthermore.. why is this a viable prospect and Yakuza 3 isn’t? Eh? EH?

Cheap though, innit. None of that expensive text to translate :)

Let’s tap, let’s tap. Future tapping game.

(The theme tune is amazing.)
