Excellent, now PS3 owners can share the pain.

Hey, why is the PS3 demo twice the size of the 360 one?

PS3 doesn’t have WinRAR build in.

It’s a bit shit, isn’t it?

The game is great. Can’t wait for the full release.

But… but, you can’t move while shooting and aiming is terribly slow (on the fastest setting). Not to mention that the guy can’t walk properly and the girls just loves to run in your line of fire.

I’m really not getting this obsession with moving and shooting. The game is better without it, and I don’t see why it should be a prerequisite for every game with a gun. The biggest issue with the game is trying to use the menu in real time.

I found the menu a minor irritation compared to the movement. And the aiming. And the AI.

It just feels unnatural that you can’t move while pointing your pistol at something.

Gears got it right. Move slowly and shoot.

It feels unnatural because games have trained you in that way. I’m so thankful for Capcom for not listening to the bleating idiots.

I don’t think anyone would be bothered about not being able to move and shoot if they weren’t throwing quite so many enemies at you from all angles. It never bothered me in Resi 4, but that appears to be a very different game to Resi 5.

No, it feels unnatural because it is. You can walk while pointing at something in real life.

But as a result of Capcom not listening to the ‘bleating idiots’, they’re probably going to sell far fewer copies, ecu.
Never mind Gears, didn’t they play Dead Space?

No, they’ll sell fewer copies because they released a demo that throws people in at the deep end and expects them to swim. It’s an unconventional control system that takes time to appreciate, so it was probably a mistake to expect people to be able to cope with it. Even with my RE4 experience I found it hard going at first.

Well, there is that.
For the record, I really do hope the full game is better. Because I’ve bought every proper Resi game so far and it’d be a shame to miss out on this one. But I’m not hopeful.

I didn’t. I thought it was easy.

Not in the US yet, when will we get it?

It’s good fun having this argument on two different forums simultaneously by the way, ecu. I can’t remember what I’ve said in which place now.

Yeah, I’ve been tempted to start copy/pasting to see if you notice.

I’m off to buy a 360. Apparently it has WinRAR built in! *brilliant*
